Art (PK)
The PK Art program aims at enhancing and developing an individual’s motor, language and cognitive skills through their original artworks. The program features painting, drawing, stenciling, and cutting/pasting while in an environment enhanced by singing, chatting and dancing. Here we encourage open-endedness and creativity to develop and strengthen problem-solving skills.
Art for Beginners
Individuals exploring an interest in art will learn foundational techniques in the field: color, form, line, shape, space, texture, and value. They learn to draw basic objects while exploring and applying useful techniques like sketching and shading to express their ideas. The curriculum is designed to expand creativity while developing visual thinking and confidence.
Advanced Art
Tailored for those seeking mastery and growth in art, this curriculum expands the individuals’ use of materials and techniques to bring their artistic visions to life. They deepen their understanding of space, texture and value in two-dimensional work, later transforming their sketches into stunning three-dimensional visualizations using sculptural methods. The open-ended projects in this program promote creative risk-taking, and refined problem solving.
Digital Art
Individuals will use intelligent design programs like Procreate, Canva, and/or Photoshop to create original digital artworks. They’ll explore the fundamentals of graphic design including composition, color, space, and typography. The curriculum is designed on creative exploration and expanding digital literacy through hands on experiences.
Pre-Ballet
Our Pre-Ballet program explores the foundations of ballet through basic movement positions, and proper body alignment. This program introduces interested individuals to the structure of a traditional dance class, helping them develop coordination, balance and the ability to express themselves through movement.
Ballet/Lyrical
Using a combination of jazz and ballet techniques, individuals will build their technical skill and emotional expression through dancing. The program emphasizes musicality, fluidity, and storytelling through movement, encouraging dancers to express themselves while practicing proper form and alignment.
Pre-Cheer
The pre-cheer program focuses on teaching beginners and newcomers foundational skills like basic motions, jumps, chants, and choreography as a squad. Through cheer the program emphasizes and instills core values discipline, athleticism, rhythm and teamwork.
Cheer Team
Students enroll to compete locally for their school’s team. The squad learns and practices performing routines with stunts, tumbling, and dance, scored on execution and difficulty. Practices take place twice a week. Competitions dates vary by school location.
Chess
Inspired by strategy and critical thinking, individuals participating in the chess program will learn its fundamentals, intricate strategies and acquire elite problem-solving skills. A great program tailored for those seeking mental thrill and challenges.
Coding
Individuals interested in programming can build foundational coding skills by exploring core principles like sequencing, cause and effect, control structures, object orientation, and iteration. The program works within beginner friendly languages like Python, Blockly and Java to experiment and problem solve through interactivity. Each activity encourages logical thinking, creativity, and digital confidence.
Jazz funk/Hip hop dance
Individuals will learn basic forms of jazz and hip-hop dance techniques. They learn technical aspects of jazz dance and practice the fluidity and groove of funk and hip-hop styles. The program introduces new individuals to footwork, body rolls, isolations, rhythm, musicality and seamless transitions between styles.
Flamenco
This program entails the traditional Spanish dance form with footwork techniques, body, and posture. It introduces individuals to different styles of dances; “palos.” The program teaches the “Zapateado,” its most fundamental step along with heel & toe taps, and turns & arm movements.
Latin Dance
A mixture of different Latin dance styles, individuals seeking a cultural connection or an interest in dancing will learn fundamental footwork, timing, movements, styling, and techniques in solo & partner dances.
Languages
In the languages program, individuals will learn about the world, homing in on basic language skills, sets of colors, numbers, songs, and common everyday phases.
Martial Arts
This program offers an introductory blend of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling, Judo and Kickboxing. Individuals in the program will learn the discipline and respect inherent to martial arts as well as obtaining the ability of self-defense while improving and maintaining their physical fitness.
Percussion
Lead by a professional Miami percussionist, interested individuals will take part in a general percussion class touching upon the fundamentals and core elements of percussion.
Guitar
Individuals interested in learning guitar will experience fundamental guitar concepts and theory in this general guitar program. Individuals are encouraged to explore all of music and play together as a group.
Pre-Robotics
Using primitive engineering concepts and fundamental robotic knowledge individuals of new or upcoming interest will learn the foundations of simple machines.
Robotics Level 1
Expanding on an Individual’s interest in robotics, level 1 will demonstrate basic motion simple machines in practice using Newton’s law of motion in a group setting. The program promotes teamwork and problem-solving skills.
Robotics Level 2
This S.T.E.M based robotics enrichment program introduces individuals to real world physics using simple machines to create further complex projects than the ones in level 1. Individuals will learn basic logical programming to bring their robots to life. Like level 1, the program is held in a group setting, allowing individuals to develop their team skills and problem-solving strategies.
Theater
The theater program offers an introduction to the components that create live theater and live acting such as improvisation, singing, dancing, and acting. Individuals will work in a group setting to develop each other’s confidence and self-expression.
Tumbling
Tumbling is an introductory form of floor gymnastics without the equipment. Individuals participating in the program will learn to properly stretch and condition themselves, as well as diving into gymnastic oriented concepts like cartwheels, rolls, and bridges. The program is tailored for individuals seeking self-maintenance or preparation for a sport.
Yoga
The Yoga program is an all-round program tailored for anyone seeking movement, self-improvement, breathing, and calming technique practice. Individuals will experience minimal-work yoga poses that promote healthy wellbeing, and state of mind.
